Simple 4 Step Process
How It Works
01
Free Consultation
Schedule a free no obligation consultation, to meet with your SMP artist. During the consultation we will discuss your unique situation, answer any questions, and develop a tailored solution for your specific needs.
02
Session #1
This is where we create and lay the foundation of your treatment. For men receiving a new hairline, we always start conservative, spacing the tattooed follicles further apart to allow us to build a base. The shape of your treatment is now visible and outlined.
03
Session #2
Ink from session 1 has settled, it's now time to add fullness to the look and fill in between the initial dots. Making any adjustments to ink color, while blending into your natural hair and new follicles. Your new look starts to really show!
04
Session #3
Blending, shading and making any final changes to the hairline if needed. Adding the finishing touches and details for a flawless and natural looking finish. Full results can be seen over 7-10 days as the ink settles.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Scalp Micro-pigmentation (SMP)?

Scalp Micro-pigmentation (SMP) is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves tattooing tiny dots or lines on the scalp to create the appearance of a closely cropped or shaved head of hair. It is primarily used as a solution for people experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, or baldness.

What types of hair loss can SMP address?

How does SMP work?

During the SMP procedure, a specialized tattoo machine is used to deposit pigment into the upper layer of the scalp, replicating the look of hair follicles. The dots or lines are carefully matched to the client's hair color and desired style, creating a natural and realistic appearance.

Is SMP a permanent solution?

Yes, SMP offers a long-lasting and permanent solution to hair loss. The pigments used in SMP are designed to fade gradually over time, ensuring a natural-looking result. However, periodic touch-up sessions may be recommended to maintain the desired appearance.
